KSeF – Pay Attention to the Invoice Receipt Obligation!

The Ministry of Finance has published an updated timeline for the implementation of the National e-Invoice System (KSeF). Although most users associate the date April 1, 2026 as the moment when the obligation comes into force, it is worth emphasizing that it concerns issuing invoices. (Timeline - source: https://ksef.podatki.gov.pl/)

From February 1, 2026, every entrepreneur will be obligated to receive invoices issued in KSeF — regardless of whether they are already using the system themselves. This means that companies that are not yet prepared to issue invoices in the system must be prepared to receive them.

Key KSeF implementation dates:

February 1, 2026obligation to receive invoices from KSeF for all taxpayers and obligation to issue e-invoices for large taxpayers (with sales value for 2024 exceeding PLN 200 million including tax)

April 1, 2026obligation to issue e-invoices for other entrepreneurs, except for the smallest "digitally excluded" taxpayers whose transactions involve small amounts (up to PLN 450 for a single invoice and up to a total sales value of PLN 10,000 per month) who will be covered by this obligation from January 1, 2027.

Implementing KSeF is not just a technical change but also the necessity to adapt accounting procedures, document circulation, and IT systems in the company. The earlier you prepare for the new requirements, the easier it will be to go through the initial period of mandatory e-invoice use.

That is why it is worth doing now: - check the readiness of your own systems, - implement invoice receipt and issuance procedures, - train employees in KSeF operation.

Our FENGO Accounting Office will be happy to help you in this process – from analyzing current solutions, through preparing procedures, to practical implementation.

Contact us, and together we will prepare your company for the new KSeF reality.
