What is color harmony?

Color harmony is a combination of colors that creates an aesthetic and cohesive visual effect. It is based on relationships between colors on the color wheel — e.g. complementary (opposite) colors create strong contrast, while analogous (adjacent) colors produce a soft, harmonious effect.

How to choose colors for your project?

Choose a base color that matches your brand or project mood, then use harmony algorithms — monochromatic, complementary, triadic or tetradic — to automatically generate a cohesive palette. Remember about text-to-background contrast — WCAG standard requires a minimum ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text.

Export formats

The tool allows exporting palettes to CSS, SCSS, ASE, ACO, GPL and PNG files. You can also copy values in HEX, RGB, HSL and CMYK formats.
