The export contains RGB colours. The CMYK option adds a device-cmyk declaration to the SVG, which some applications ignore. For print, build the code in a single channel (100% K or a spot colour) and convert in your layout application.

The code is generated in your browser according to ISO/IEC 18004. The tool does not check whether the encoded content works, or whether the colours, size and surface will let the code scan after printing. Before printing, scan a test print with several readers. The rules for using the Tools are set out in the Terms of Service.

What is a QR code?

A QR code (Quick Response) is a two-dimensional barcode that can store text, URLs, contact details, and much more. Simply scan it with your phone camera to instantly access the encoded content.

Why use custom colors?

QR codes in your brand colors strengthen brand recognition and look professional on printed materials, business cards, and packaging. Remember to maintain sufficient contrast between the code and background.

How to add a logo to a QR code?

Thanks to error correction (level H = 30%), a QR code can have part of its data damaged and still be readable. This allows placing a logo in the center. Our generator centres the logo in a frame of fixed size (about 6% of the code area) and keeps its proportions.
